ABOUT COACH T
Developing Players. Building Leaders. Changing Lives Through Basketball.
Antonio "Coach T" Grace is a basketball coach, player developer, program leader, and U.S. Air Force veteran. Basketball is what he teaches — but development is what he does.
THE COACH
More Than Drills and Wins
Coach T's approach has never been about simply putting athletes through drills or collecting wins. He believes great coaching means developing the complete person — their skill, basketball IQ, confidence, discipline, leadership, character, and ability to respond when things get difficult. That philosophy has shaped every part of his journey.
As the Head Girls Basketball Coach at Berthoud High School, Coach T has helped build the Lady Spartans into a competitive program — developing All-State and All-Conference athletes and helping players pursue opportunities beyond high school basketball.
As Director of Girls Basketball Operations for State 38 United, a nationally known club program, his focus extends beyond any one team. He helps create a development system where athletes are taught how to play the game, not simply how to run plays — developing skilled, intelligent, competitive players prepared to compete at higher levels while becoming young people of character.
As a Lead Clinician with Breakthrough Basketball, he teaches athletes across different communities, age groups, and skill levels. And every gym reinforces something he strongly believes: great players aren't discovered — they're developed.
Coaching Credentials
Coach T's commitment to player development also means continually developing himself as a coach, teacher, and leader:

These credentials represent more than titles — they reflect an ongoing commitment to learning, leadership, player safety, character development, and providing athletes with high-level instruction.
The Coach T Philosophy
Coach T believes development happens when athletes are challenged enough to grow, supported enough to fail, and taught enough to understand why they're doing what they're doing.
Skill Development
Building technically sound, confident players who can create and finish against real competition.
Basketball IQ
Teaching athletes to read the floor, recognize advantages, and make decisions — understanding the game instead of memorizing movements.
Competitive Mindset
Learning how to respond to adversity, pressure, mistakes, fatigue, and failure.
Leadership & Character
Talent creates opportunities; character determines what you do with them. Communication, accountability, discipline, effort, and being a great teammate are all part of development.
Winning Habits
Winning isn't something that happens when the scoreboard turns on. It's the result of habits developed when nobody is watching.
SERVICE BEFORE THE SIDELINE
Before Coach T, There Was Airman Grace
Serving eight years in the United States Air Force — including deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq — shaped the way Coach T views leadership, preparation, accountability, teamwork, and adversity. Those lessons followed him into the gym.
He doesn't expect perfection from his athletes; he expects them to show up, compete, learn, communicate, and keep becoming better versions of themselves. Because eventually basketball ends — but the confidence, discipline, resilience, leadership, and relationships developed through the game don't have to. That's the real purpose behind what he does.
THE MISSION
The Mission
Coach T's mission is simple: Develop Players. Build Leaders. Create Opportunities. Whether he's coaching a varsity program, developing college-bound athletes, leading a camp, training an individual, mentoring coaches, or speaking to a room full of people, he wants everyone he works with to leave better than they arrived. Not just better at basketball — better prepared for whatever comes next.
